More than three out of four Italians (76.2%) also associate pasta with pleasure and positive emotions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15702\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15702\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15702\" src=\"https:\/\/www.guidesmart.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Puttanesca5-855x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"767\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15702\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9G.Miele\/guidesmart<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Parma is the host city for the 28th edition of World Pasta Day<\/strong>, an annual celebration held on <strong>October 25<\/strong> to honour one of Italy&#8217;s most beloved dishes.<\/p>\n<p>The 2017 edition took place in Brazil, but ever since the event&#8217;s inaugural edition in Naples, its mission has been to <b>promote pasta as a delicious, healthy, nutritious, affordable and sustainable food<\/b>. Pasta is a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet, which has been recognised by UNESCO as part of the world&#8217;s intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15525\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15525\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15525\" src=\"https:\/\/www.guidesmart.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Pasta-1024x492.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"308\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15525\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9G.Miele\/guidesmart<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The aim is to <strong>raise awareness of pasta&#8217;s nutritional value and versatility, celebrating a food that has become a favourite around the world<\/strong>.
